The holy land of rock climbing
Rock climbing is a competitive sport derived from mountaineering. It originated in the Soviet Union in the 1950s and existed as a military training project in the army. Captain's peak
Captain peak is a typical vertical cliff in Yosemite National Park of the United States, about 910 meters high. As the rock is smooth and extremely steep, it usually takes four days to complete the route, which is a great challenge for climbers in terms of physical strength, technology and psychological endurance. Mount sol cliff, Canada
Mount sol cliff, also known as sol peak, is located in oitke National Park, Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada. It is 1250 meters high and is the purest vertical cliff on earth. The 105 degree tilt makes it a favorite place for climbers and campers. In 1953, several members of the North American Arctic Research Institute climbed Mount sol for the first time. At present, the record of the longest rope winding descent distance on sol peak was set by several young Americans in July 2006.
Mount lorama, South America
The highest peak of the pacarolema mountains in northern South America. At the junction of Brazil, Venezuela and Guyana. It is a table mountain with steep edge and flat top.
